Is Pipeline Bio available outside the Asia-Pacific region?
Yes. Teams from anywhere in the world can use Pipeline Bio to find and engage Providers across the Asia-Pacific. Provider Organisations must be a registered business within the Asia-Pacific region to create a Storefront and list their capabilities.
What types of capabilities are listed on Pipeline Bio?
Pipeline Bio covers a wide range of scientific, technical, and support capabilities used across the R&D lifecycle, from early discovery through to manufacturing and clinical development. Capabilities may include:
Pre-clinical research — in vivo studies, analytical testing, bioassays, toxicology, and formulation development
Clinical research — trial design, clinical monitoring, data management, and biostatistics
Manufacturing — cell line development, process optimisation, GMP manufacturing, and quality control testing
Consulting and support — regulatory affairs, recruitment, IP and patent services, financial support, R&D tax advisory, product development strategy, and many more
Capabilities may also include collaboration, partnership, and licensing opportunities.
How are Provider Storefronts verified?
Once registered, each Provider manages their own storefront, including information about their capabilities, accreditations, and certifications. Where a Provider has not taken control of their storefront, Pipeline Bio carefully curates the listing, using strictly factual, publicly available information. Our role is to curate and organise listings so that information is easy to search, compare, and accessible, helping Members make informed decisions about which Providers best fit their requirements.
How do I submit an enquiry to a Provider?
Once you have found a suitable Provider capability, open their storefront and select Send enquiry on the relevant listing. Alternatively, select Send enquiry on the relevant capability. You will be asked to provide a short message if you are just requesting more information. You also have the option to attach a Request for Proposal (RFP) if you have one drafted. For more information on enquiries, see the Submit and Manage Enquiries how-to guide.
How do I send a Request for Proposal (RFP) to a Provider?
An RFP is created from our standard RFP template, designed to capture key project details such as study objectives, timelines, and required capabilities. Once generated, your RFP becomes a live, editable document that you can update at any time. You can share the same RFP with as many Providers as you like through the platform, as an attachment to an enquiry. Each time you do, a record is automatically kept of the Providers that the RFP was sent to. This ensures a transparent, auditable history of your outreach and responses, while allowing you to refine and reuse your RFP for future projects. For more information on RFPs, see the Prepare, Send, and Manage Request for Proposals how-to guide.
Can I edit or withdraw my RFP after sending it?
Yes. Because RFPs on Pipeline Bio are live editable documents, you can update your RFP at any time, even after sharing it with Providers. Updated versions become available to Providers with access to the RFP, so you can refine your requirements as your project evolves. If you no longer want a Provider to have access to your RFP, go to the My Enquiries page and remove their access. This revokes their ability to view or respond to that RFP, while maintaining a record of your past outreach for reference. For more information on RFPs, see the Prepare, Send, and Manage Request for Proposals how-to guide.
Can Pipeline Bio help me with selecting Providers?
Yes. Pipeline Bio provides tools to help you identify the most suitable Providers for your project, including the searchable Provider directory, standardised storefronts, the capability taxonomy, and an AI Search Agent. The AI Search Agent can answer specific queries and guide you to relevant suppliers directly from the database. To learn more about searching and selecting capabilities, see the Search for Capabilities how-to guide.
Can I contact the Pipeline Bio team directly for assistance?

Are quotes or payments handled through the platform?
Members and Providers can exchange quotes and related documents directly through the Pipeline Bio platform. Payments, however, are not processed through the platform. All contracting and financial arrangements take place directly between the Member and the Provider.
Will Pipeline Bio help manage communication or contracts?
The platform provides a channel for Members and Providers to communicate, share documents, and manage enquiries in one place. Pipeline Bio does not participate in or manage contracting between the parties. All agreements are handled directly between the Member and the Provider.
Can the platform support Research and Development Tax Incentive (RDTI) activities?
The Research and Development Tax Incentive (RDTI) is an Australian Government program. Pipeline Bio’s Directory covers Providers across the Asia-Pacific, and Members can filter their searches to Australian Providers where this is relevant to an RDTI or Overseas Finding claim. Searching Australian services and capabilities in this way may give teams a deeper understanding of which R&D activities can or cannot be conducted in Australia. To support evidence generation with respect to capability searches, Members can use the RFP Summary Report feature. The RFP Summary Report provides an auditable record of Provider outreach and responses that may be used to demonstrate reasonable efforts to identify capable Australian Providers, or to support discussions with professional advisers regarding potential overseas outsourcing decisions.
Pipeline Bio makes no guarantees regarding RDTI or Overseas Finding eligibility. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Do I need a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before sending an RFP?
Pipeline Bio’s standard user terms do not include a confidentiality agreement or NDA between users and Providers. If your enquiry or RFP contains sensitive technical or commercial information, we recommend arranging an NDA directly with the provider before sharing details. Pipeline Bio does not facilitate or take responsibility for the execution or enforcement of confidentiality agreements between users.
Yes, Providers can manage their own storefronts, including organisation information, contact, and capability listings. Access is subject to verification checks outlined in the Pipeline Bio Platform Terms and Conditions. Verification checks are conducted to confirm that the requesting user is the rightful representative of the Provider organisation. For more information, see the Edit and Manage Your Storefront how-to guide.
Is there a cost to list my organisation or services?
No, there is no cost for organisations to create or edit a storefront and list their capabilities or other opportunities on Pipeline Bio.

I have received an email about an enquiry but am not yet a registered Provider. How do I respond?
When a Member submits an enquiry about your capabilities, you will receive an email notification summarising their request. If the Member has consented to share their contact details, these will be included so you can respond directly. If no contact details are shown, you will first need to create a Pipeline Bio account and request control of your organisation’s storefront. To sign up for a Provider Account, select the Get listed button on the homepage. Once verified, you can view and manage all enquiries securely through your account dashboard.
